F.A.Q.

How is the VI Peel different from other peels?

Before the VI peel, the deeper the peel, the more painful, the more downtime, the better the results. The VI Peel is the first Next Generation Aesthetic to make your peel more comfortable during application. It is almost painless, and requires no skin preconditioning as well as, has very few of the complications that can accompany some of the older medical grade peels.

What will the VI Peel do for my skin?

The VI Peel will help erase fine lines and wrinkles, decrease large pores, build collagen and elastin that tighten skin. It targets and is very effective in eliminating hyper pigmentation including melasma, acne, and acne scarring.

How long is downtime after the VI Peel?

The skin will look slightly tan almost immediately after the peel. On days 1-2 the skin will feel slightly tighter, usually with little signs of peeling. Some pigmented areas may appear darker. On approximately day’s 2-3, you will begin to peel over the next 4-5 days. The results are dramatic and by using the post peel recommended skin regimen, it will help keep you more comfortable during your peel and even increase healing time.

How long will my appointment take for a chemical peel?

Your appointment will take approximate 30 minutes.
